David MacMillan is a developer.

Born in Toronto,
he moved to Ottawa
in 2011 to study at Carleton University.

He later joined Apple as a Genius
and worked in tech going from IT to AI
where he’s been responsible for fixing it.
Repairing hardware, user
interface, packaging and
major backend architectural projects.

He was awarded the
Ontario Youth Changer Maker
Award in 2016,
and presented with the
Cheo Youth for Youth Award in 2016.

David holds a Honours Bachelor of Arts degree
in Human Rights and Political Science: International Relations, and a minor in American Sign Language.

In 2026 he launched the
indie lab kyttes - his personal creative
umbrella for publishing independent
AI-enabled apps and experiments.

David lives and works with
his family in Ottawa.
